Beginning to Blog

It's struck me for a while now that I should blog. So, while I sit here, watching the third game of the World Series (being played by 2 teams that matter little to me, although I have managed to pick a favorite between them,) I thought I'd poke around here and see if I could finally make this site work for me. The first time I looked at it, I wasn't able to figure much out. That's much the way it is with everything these days. You know, it's been a decade of a year, given the number of changes I've been asked to face. So, I cut myself breaks here and there. They're small breaks. They're without much weight in the whole scheme of things. But they're breaks, and they allow me to look at something like making a blog, and come back to it slowly, in small bits, until it starts to make sense to me.

It's been a long day. I consider that it has, however, ultimately been a successful one. I have posted my first post to my first blog. I am no longer the Invisible Woman.
