The Wall...

I also planted clematis on the arbor and on the lattice on the front porch. There's really not much to photograph yet, but tomorrow I'll go out and take a "the beginning" shot, just in case they really grow wild.
Because it's time... as it was once before.
I'm a bit old to be starting out in life again, but that's where I am. Sadly. Or gladly. It's where I am. Come along. Watch the fun. Inch by inch, row by row, gonna make this garden grow.

It looks great Ginny! I look forward to seeing pictures of it as the year progresses.
How I wish I had the talent (and motivation) to do something like that with my yard...I keep wanting to provide a small pool and a sand pit for the pups but I just haven't gotten around to it. Oh well, they'll just have to settle for trips to the park (which also has a lake...)
It doesn't take any talent! I have no experience at all, but I'm finding that I have the desire to be surrounded by pretty things. Even more important to me right now is order. It feels good to have things in order and neat ... it's a metaphor. And an illusion. But it does feel good.
A pool and a sand pit for the pups? Don't let mine hear that, or they'll be on a plane to Houston!
They are welcome anytime (and so are you)! Even if I don't have that sand pit and pool yet! :)
